Description

Castle Pines Golf Club is a nationally ranked private golf club located in Castle Rock, Colorado. Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide variety of goods from scratch such as breads, cookies, cakes, pies, ice creams, and chocolates following traditional and modern recipes.
• Prepare goods for a wide variety of presentations including plated desserts, buffets, and private caterings.
• Complete daily prep lists and organize daily tasks to adhere to timetables in which certain items must be baked daily and ready for service.
• Decorate pastries using a variety of icings and toppings to ensure beautifully finished products.
• Ability to visually inspect ingredients and completed recipes to ensure only the highest quality products are used.
• Daily checks of frozen/fresh par items and ingredients.
• Work in a clean and safe manner adhering to all Food Handlers guidelines.
• Participate in daily/weekly/monthly cleaning tasks including, but not limited to, dish washing, wiping down and sanitizing work surfaces, cleaning stock shelves, fridges, freezers and deep cleaning.
• Work within a strong team dynamic to create and execute new and exciting desserts for menus that change monthly.
• Assist in other areas of the kitchen when needs of the business arise.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Previous culinary or pastry experience preferred.
• Flexible scheduling availability to work early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
• Strong time management skills and self-motivation to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to stand on your feet for 75% of the time and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of ingredients, piping and writing with icings and chocolate.
• Ability to do basic math quickly and accurately.
